Arizona Rising Action Fund is a section 501(c)(4) organization focused on education and advocacy with limited political activity. Donations to the Fund are not subject to state or federal campaign finance source restrictions or contributions limits. Each year, the Fund is discloses certain financial information to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) about its donations and expenditures. However, under current law, specific information on each of the Fund’s donors is not publicly disclosed on its tax filings. The Fund only accepts unrestricted, general support grants. The Fund’s directors and staff will determine how the funds will be used to advance the organization’s exempt purpose and support its program activities, which may include making grants in support of other organizations including its affiliated section 527 organization, Arizona Rising.

Arizona Rising (PAC) is Arizona Rising Action Fund’s affiliated section 527 political organization which is registered as an Arizona political action committee (PAC). The PAC may accept contributions in any amount from individuals and corporations to sponsor independent political activities in Arizona. The PAC routinely discloses all of its contributors and expenditures to the Arizona Secretary of State’s office.
